Farm Shop to re open June 24

This week (June 24th) Penpont is opening up its Farm Shop again for another season. All the vegetables, fruit and flowers are organically grown within the historic walled gardens.

Vina Hogg says “You just can’t beat freshly picked new season vegetables”

As well as selling produce from the farm shop Penpont Organic also supplies The Griffin, The Tiple ‘n Tiffin, Pilgrims, Patsy’s Café, Trecastle Tearooms, Peterstone Court & Beacons Veggie Boxes.

Alongside the vegetables Vina is growing a wonderful selection of cottage garden flowers and can make up, to order, bunches & bouquets for special occasions or treat yourself to a bunch whilst buying your veg.

James Clapp, Penpont’s grower/gardener is now in his third season and despite the very late spring he is feeling optimistic about productivity levels! Anyone visiting the Farm Shop is very welcome to wander out to the walled gardens to meet him and see where all the produce comes from.

If you are interested in learning about organic gardening or perhaps thinking about taking on an allotment why not come and volunteer a few hours in the garden and work alongside James -  do contact us.

The shop opening hours are every Thursday, Friday & Saturday from 10am to dusk.
