Open Gardens, August Bank Holiday
The gardens will be open on August Bank holiday Monday ( August 30th) from 2;00pm until 6.00pm.
Entry fees: Adults £2.50 each, Children under 16 free.
Cream teas, Lawn games, a Trail quiz, Dutch auction, and a novelty dog show. All proceeds are being given to Betws Penpont Chuch to aid in essential repairs. There will also be an organ recital through out the afternoon in the church.
The Dutch auction will feature: a watercolour by Robert Macdonald, and art work by Nicola Beattie , a signed Welsh Rugby shirt by local rugby star Andy Powell, shooting tickets for two, fishing tickets for 2, and a box of Penpont Organic vegetables, along with more items yet to be donated.
Prizes for the novelty dog show are being kindly presented by The Great English Outdoors, based in Hay on Wye.
