WEDDINGS AND CELEBRATIONS
Penpont can offer a choice of two unique venues for your event, be it a Wedding party, anniversary, or Birthday:
For numbers less than 100, we suggest using the Stables: a complete venue package with Dining Room, commercial kitchen, bar area, party/dance room, and WCs all under one roof. Please refer to our STABLES page.
For Numbers greater than 100 people: marquees can be erected on the flat lawn in front of the house. We have a list of local Marquee companies that have worked here, and we leave the decision entirely to you.
Marquee companies will quote you for internal fittings, Flooring, wall linings, supply of furniture, supply of mobile generator, and electrical installations. Please allow for a catering kitchen area.
We have hosted a number of weddings and celebrations over the past years, and we are very happy to work alongside you to ensure that all the finer details are covered, to enable a memorable day.
“I knew Penpont was the right place for us instantly and my gut instincts were not wrong as the setting was absolutely perfect for us and set the tone for the whole day. You were so welcoming and lovely and we hope to stay in touch and visit the place for years to come as it has now become so special in our hearts”. - Amy Armitage July 2009
CATERING
We work closely with a number of very good gourmet local caterers who we are very happy to recommend.
Our closest is Charlotte Roskill Catering who has catered for many events here.

Crockery, linen, and other requirements can all be sourced locally from our list of preferred suppliers.
FLOWERS
We can supply your event with our own organic seasonal flowers grown in the Walled Gardens. We specialize in traditional cottage garden annuals and herbaceous flowers. Please remember that this supply is seasonal.
AWNING
We own a spectacular awning (see photo) which can add extra covered outdoor space for your event.
MUSIC
Alan Cooper lives and works on the estate here, and when he is not helping us he spends his time playing his fiddle in a number of ceilidh bands.
