The Courtyard Wing Terms & Conditions
Thank you for choosing to stay with us at Penpont, we hope you enjoy your stay. Please find below the terms and conditions applicable to our site.
Your agreement is with Penpont and its owners and references to 'we', 'us' and 'our' in these terms and conditions are to Penpont and its owners. References to 'you' in these terms and conditions are to you, as the person making this booking and, where applicable, to every member of your party.
Payment & Booking: Courtyard Wing costs are as advertised at the time of booking on our online booking system. Your booking is not secure until your deposit has been received, and a confirmation email sent. Any provisional bookings will be automatically cancelled within 48 hours if payment of the deposit has not been received. Final balance is due 10 weeks prior to arrival, if payment is not received within 7 days of your payment date, we reserve the right to cancel this booking.
Arrival & Departure: Arrival is from 16:30pm onwards, please leave by 10:00am on the day of your departure. Where possible, we will do our best to accommodate earlier arrivals or later departures upon request.
Dogs: Due to the wildlife and livestock, we try to limit the number of dogs we allow on site at any one time. On special request, we may consider one well-behaved dog and guide dogs are always welcome. Please keep close control of your dog and ensure you pick up after them, do not throw dog poo bags into the undergrowth. We reserve the right to ask guests and their dogs to leave if these conditions are not met.
Recycling & rubbish: There are bins and recycling instructions in The Courtyard Wing - please decant rubbish and recycling into the outdoor recycling area opposite The Courtyard Wing front door, through the archway.
Cars: Please park cars in the cobbled yard, with overflow at the front of the house. Please park respectfully considering residents and other guests.
Children: Penpont is a wonderful place for children to make memories, whilst we encourage children to explore, we respectfully ask parents to supervise their children to ensure their safety (particularly by the river) and to ensure they are respectful of other guests. A reminder that both crops growing in the walled garden and orchard are of economic importance to the farm and family, so please ensure this is respected.
Damages: We appreciate things can be accidentally broken from time to time. We ask that guests advise us of any damage, breakages or faults as soon as possible. In cases where the damage as a significant financial impact, we may ask guests to contribute.
Fires & BBQ: Please use the top terrace only. Please use the firepits and BBQ's provided.
Wildlife: We have wonderful wildlife here at Penpont. We hope you catch a glimpse of something special and please record any sightings on the wildlife spotting board on the farm shop. Please respect the flora and fauna and do not damage the trees and shrubs or pick the wildflowers.
We will not be held responsible for any loss or damage, however, caused, to your property or vehicles or any injury to you or your visitors.
Cancellation Policy
We advise that you take out insurance to ensure that, should you need to change or cancel your holiday, you can recover the associated costs from your insurance provider
By making a booking and paying your deposit you signify your agreement with our refund policy. The cancellation charges are expressed as a percentage of the full price of each cancelled or changed holiday
Cancellation charge:
More than 10 weeks prior to the booking start date
The deposit (25% of the booking cost) is non-refundable.
Less than 10 weeks or after the booking start date
100% of booking cost is non-refundable. Unless we are able to resell the dates.
